WEDDING VENUES IN POLAND - QUESTIONS
Here are 8 questions that you must ask yourself when organizing a wedding and choosing a place.
1.
Can you afford the venue that you like?
First, before you make any
venue decisions, you need to make a draft wedding budget. Don’t torture yourself
and keep a 50,000 PLN venue on your list when you can really only
afford 20,000 PLN. It’s just going to waste your time.
2. Does this venue’s capacity fit your estimated guest list?
It is worth stressing that at the beginning of the search you should know for how many guests is preparing a wedding. Of course it does not have to be an exact number of guests, you only need to know whether the guests will be 50 or 150.
3. What is the cost of renting a venue with catering?
The cost of the wedding venue is for many couples a key issue during the organization of the wedding. It is worth remembering, that the cost for a menu per person is not the final price to be considered when choosing a place for a wedding. Costs should include issues such as:
• Are cakes and decoration of the venue included in the price?
• Is the additional fee for bringing your own alcohol?
• How much is the deposit?
• Does the same price apply to children, vendors such as: DJ, photographer?
• Do you have to pay extra for media such as electricity, gas, water?
• Are unlimited soft drinks included in the price?
• Will the price change when the number of guests decreases?
• Is the car park for guests extra paid?
• Are there extra costs for renting a place?
4. Does this venue’s available space fit your needs?

4. Does this venue’s available space fit your needs?
For example, if
you’re doing ceremony, cocktails, and reception all in one venue, does
it have three separate spaces for all of those events?
5. Does the venue have one or more wedding reception rooms?
Wedding venue often have several halls. It is worth to know beforehand whether or not your ceremony and reception will take place in the building with another one. If so, how will venue separate from each other those events?
6. Consider location. Are you agree with needing to provide transportation for guests from a hotel to your remote venue?
7. Does the wedding venue have accommodation facilities?
If you are organizing a wedding where you expect guests living far away, it is worth finding out how many rooms are available on site.
8. Does this venue have any catering restrictions? Can you tweet a menu? Sometimes a venue makes you use one exclusive caterer. Other times you were dreaming of having your favorite food from available restaurant menu cards.

My advice: The most frustrating part of finding a venue is the initial research. The venues and their websites are all completely different and they offer a variety of information in complete package or not. If you can’t find answers on a venue’s site, make a list with your questions and use contact with venue via email. Once you’ve done your initial online research and have a list of places for wedding you’re interested in, I recommend going back to the venues you like the most and organizing for yourself a visit in those venues.
