However, the situation is completely different with a religious wedding outside a church in Poland. The Polish Episcopate issued a special position regarding weddings outside the church. This type of wedding is possible only in exceptional cases, but in practice such a permit is issued very rarely.
Can a priest marry you outside of a church in Poland?
Under the Catholic Church's cannon law, marriages are meant to be performed by a Catholic priest inside either the bride or groom's parish church. If you would like to marry in another parish, you must have a license to marry outside the parish.
Religious weddings take place in a church, chapel or any other religious venue, presided over by a priest. Bishops are very reluctant to grant authorization for outdoor weddings by a Catholic parish, because they are concerned with maintaining a sense of the sacred and holiness.

The fee for an outdoor church wedding is exactly the same as the fee for a wedding mass inside the church. In addition, it will be necessary to remember about such additional costs as:
